After a mysterious plague has ravaged humanity, we start the film with a country man mercy killing his dog Milo. Milo was infected with this plague, this man, Vernon. Treks into the woods around his house to bury the corpse, along the way it’s unclear whether Vernon is losing his mind, or something has happened to all the animals. Because all the animals talk to Vernon in distorted voices, leading him deeper into the forest to bury Milo. read more

Description of The Grizzly:
The Grizzly is meant to represent Vernon’s father, a very harsh and overbearing protector. The Grizzly accompanies Vernon through most of his journey, believing Vernon can’t handle the task himself.
