Synopsis

five seemingly unconnected college students in Angel Grove are drawn to a hidden alien artifact beneath their campus, they become the first line of defense against a resurgent cosmic evil: Rita Repulsa (Ming-Na Wen), a fallen warrior of the Morphin Masters. Chosen by the ancient being Zordon and his AI assistant Alpha 5, the students must learn to work together as the Power Rangers—a legacy force of protectors—and stop Rita from unleashing havoc on Earth

Description of Zack Taylor (Black Ranger):

Zack is a theater major at Angel Grove University, known for his charisma and quick thinking. He’s the life of the party, always able to make others laugh and lighten the mood, but underneath the charm, Zack hides personal struggles. He was raised by a single mother after his father left, and he's the primary caregiver for his younger sibling. He’s been juggling college and responsibility from a young age, which often leaves him feeling like he's failing at both.
