Reinforced by the arrival of Scarlet Witch and Polaris, the Midnight Suns launch a second strike against Mephisto. The ensuing battle is epic, with the team fighting to defend Earth against the demonic invasion. Ultimately, the Midnight Suns emerge victorious, but Mephisto manages to escape, vanishing into the shadows. Though defeated, Mephisto's malevolent presence still looms, setting the stage for future conflicts.
