Nightmare, a demon known as a Fear Lady, has taken control of a man named Jonathan Kale, and has used his body as an Avatar for her terrible purposes. This attracts Ronnie Reyes, Ghost Rider, to hunt down this demon. But before she can go up against Nightmare and her unbelievable power, she meets once again Blade and Moon Knight. Ronnie realizes that strength lies better in numbers and proposes a team with the Two. Together they have to stop Nightmare from getting into the real word.
