Synopsis

Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND and a group of renegade terrorists take over a nuclear weapons facility in Alaska. Holding a secret super weapon that can change the world, the government tasks Solid Snake to stop the terrorists at all costs. But Snake discovers much more to this plot than it seems, including a top secret project involving legendary super solider, Big Boss, and a government conspiracy... Spoilers in the character descriptions!

Description of Colonel Roy Campbell:

Roy Campbell is in charge of the operation. Though he has worked with Snake before, Snake seems suspicious about the Colonel supposedly keeping secrets from him. This happens to be the case, as the Pentagon took his niece, Meryl, to keep him quiet. Campbell does reveal his secrets, and even saves Snake at the end, while risking his position.
