Description of Meryl Silverburgh:

Meryl is Roy Campbell's niece. She always dreamed of being a soldier, even as a child. She is assigned to go to Shadow Moses. When she refuses to take part of the FOXHOUND rebellion on the island, she is locked up and taken prisoner. It turns out she was assigned there so the Pentagon could keep Roy Campbell quiet about confidential info. She meets Snake and they sneak together to get to Metal Gear, but she is later shot by Sniper Wolf, who takes Snake to be tortured as well. Does Meryl survive?
