Description of Dr. Hal Emmerich (Otacon):

Dr. Hal "Otacon" Emmerich is the chief engineer of the Metal Gear REX project. He comes from a long line of people who were unfortunately related to nuclear weapons in some way. When he finds out that Metal Gear is a nuclear weapon itself, he becomes devastated, and wishes to help Snake destroy it. Otacon is in love with Sniper Wolf, but is devastated some more when he finds out she's a killer. Otacon is also a devoted fan of anime.
