In a futuristic world where robots and humans co-exist, things go awry when six "Robot Masters" fall under the control of an unknown cyber-terrorist threat and cause havoc. It's up to Rockman (better known as "Mega Man") and his sister Roll to find the threat, free the Robot Masters of their hypnosis, and restore the city's trust in robots.
