In an apocalyptic future, young Thomas is chosen to face the system. He wakes up inside a dark, moving elevator and can't even remember his name. In the isolated community where he was abandoned, Thomas meets other boys who have been through the same situation. To escape, he must discover the dark secrets kept in his mind and run like hell.
