When an easygoing pizza delivery guy named Chad accidentally checks the wrong box on a local ballot app—while trying to claim a free breadstick coupon—he’s mistakenly sworn in as the mayor of the sleepy town of Boonville. With no political experience, zero ambition, and a firm belief that traffic laws are just “polite suggestions,” Chad sets out to wing it… and somehow, the town starts thriving. As Chad introduces a series of bizarre but beloved policies—like turning potholes into public hot tubs and replacing the police force with improv comedians—he becomes a cult hero. But when a real election looms and a rival candidate vows to return “order” to Boonville, Chad must decide if he’s ready to grow into the role… or just order everyone tacos and let democracy sort itself out.
