After the chaotic events of Deadpool and Wolverine, Logan (Wolverine) and Laura (X-23) attempt to live a quieter life together, forging a unique father-daughter relationship. They move to a secluded location in an effort to escape their violent past and find peace. However, their tranquility is short-lived when they begin to notice strange occurrences and the emergence of a new threat. Mister Sinister, a businessman and geneticist with a red diamond on his forehead and has a dark history, has resurfaced with a sinister plot to eradicate all mutants. He has developed a deadly virus specifically engineered to target and wipe out the mutant population, leaving only humans. Sinister's motives are complex, driven by a desire to reshape the world according to his twisted vision of genetic purity. As Logan and Laura delve deeper into the mystery, they uncover Sinister's plan and realize the magnitude of the danger. They must leave their quiet life behind and rally other mutants to join the fight. Among their new allies are The Alpha Flight.
