In the aftermath of the Hydra's Secret Empire, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) uses his magic to raise the fallen city of Las Vegas back up to its feet, believing that it would make everybody happy again. But a gap in the spell has allowed Mephiso (Ciarán Hinds) to raise hell upon the earth, tempting everyone into doing sin and taking their souls as punishment. Now with a failed bet leaving Stephen Strange's soul in the hands of the devil, an old friend (Benedict Wong) is left with the responsibilities of assembling a new team to not only save The Sourcer Supreme, but all of Las Vegas in general.
