In the aftermath of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team is still recovering from their previous battles, but a new and terrifying force rises in the form of Maximus the Mad, the brother of Black Bolt, and a rogue Inhuman with the power to manipulate minds. Maximus has been quietly building his own army of Inhumans, seeking to reshape the world into his vision of order through chaos.
