Synopsis

I am thinking if the MCU was cancelled and Disney announced they were rebooting the Marvel Universe on film in the same vein as James Gunn's new DCU. In my 'Phase 1' (which will be 'Chapter 1') the movies will consist of adaptations of Stan Lee's original works from the 60s; Fantastic Four, Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Thor, Doctor Strange, Captain America, X-Men, the Avengers & Daredevil. Whilst other character would obviously be featured in the movies, I have only selected to cast the most significant major heroes and villains.

  • kccasting With my Ant-Man movie, I am throwing money at Edgar Wright's door to get him to come back to complete his vision. I could be wrong, but Henry Golding is exactly the kind of charismatic guy that Edgar Wright would be down to work with. He is a natural movie star and like Paul Rudd, would fall right into that sweet spot of comedy/ taking the character seriously. He is also going to be a founding Avenger in my universe, like Ant-Man should be and Golding's casting would add some much needed diversity to the lineup.
