Synopsis

Doctor Faustus of HYDRA uses dark magic and science to raise Lilith from her eternal slumber in the belief that her power will enable HYDRA to conquer the world. Within the following six months, a star known as the "Midnight Sun" begins approaching Earth and destabilizes magic, heralding the return of Lilith's master, the elder God Chthon. Stephen Strange and Tony Stark try to get Johnny Blaze to hand over the Parchment of Power, but he flatly turns them down. Alerted to the magic converging at the Sanctum Sanctorum, the two return to aid Wanda Maximoff and are joined shortly by Carol Danvers just as Lilith arrives with a HYDRA squad, only to be distracted by Maximoff, allowing Strange to drive off Lilith and create a mystic shield. Realizing the Avengers are outmatched by her, Strange leaves Maximoff to maintain the shield and takes the others to the Abbey for help. After meeting the Midnight Suns (Nico Minoru, Magik, Blade and Robbie Reyes), Strange meets with Caretaker, Lilith's estranged sister, and asks for her help
