William Cleese is the professor of law at Cambridge university and Sergio's mentor. An old friend of Gustavo Aldama, Professor Cleese is affectionately known by Marimar as Uncle Willie. He joins the young couple's crusade to avenge themselves and later in the war against Bart Cusack's militia followed by the government court martial against them.
