Synopsis

Based on the original 1994 Mexican Telenovela of the same name, Marimar is a young Anglo-Mexican girl who falls in love with Sergio, a young law student. But their happiness is cut short when her grandparents are murdered by a mysterious arsonist and they are arrested. Once they reunite in the city of Bristol, both take on new identities to avenge themselves against those who ruined their lives, including Sergio's fugitive father and sister, solve a string of murders and uncover a past that not only brings them closer, but leads them on a mission they never imagined: To save their native England.

A close ally to Marimar, Sergio and the late Gustavo Aldama, Inspector Barnaby is a true advocate of Justice in the city of Bristol. With the passing of Gustavo, the inspector takes on Sergio as an apprentice and aids him and Marimar in their crusade and the investigation regarding the murders of Gustavo, Pancho and Cruz.
