Synopsis

Based on the original 1994 Mexican Telenovela of the same name, Marimar is a young Anglo-Mexican girl who falls in love with Sergio, a young law student. But their happiness is cut short when her grandparents are murdered by a mysterious arsonist and they are arrested. Once they reunite in the city of Bristol, both take on new identities to avenge themselves against those who ruined their lives, including Sergio's fugitive father and sister, solve a string of murders and uncover a past that not only brings them closer, but leads them on a mission they never imagined: To save their native England.

A Filipino law student and Sergio's classmate from Cambridge, Inocencia or Ines may not be his relative but she is a good friend. When he and Marimar move to Bristol and becomes Nigel Hyde and Belle Aldama, She and her boyfriend Adrian Rosales-Beaumont reluctantly stay by their side in their crusade and then in the war against Cusack to find and rescue Renato and Angelica.
