The father of Marimar and Angelica, Gustavo is the white knight of Bristol and the idol of Sergio. Since he was a law student, Gustavo has fought to dismantle the criminal empire of his late father. After the deaths of Pancho and Cruz, he takes custody of Marimar and his sister Hope takes custody of the amnesiac Sergio aka Nigel Hyde.
