The father of the late Julia Young Santibañez and Sergio's Grandfather, Alistair Young is a caring wealthy man and a retired naval architect. His most notorious design was the Destroyer HMS Olympic, the vessel that killed Lord Robert Aldama under the command of Bart Cusack. When Marimar and Sergio become Belle Aldama and Nigel Hyde, he does everything in his power to aid them in their crusade to avenge themselves and when Britain is embroiled in a civil war, he helps the couple in the restoration of the Olymoic.
