Man on Fire (2025)

Inspired by the knowledge that the book "Man on Fire" has a following in the country of Japan due to the character of Creasy being compared to a samurai. Creasy, a African-American former U.S. Army Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps and former Delta Force operator, is on the run after killing high-ranking members of the U.S. military and government. Giving him one last shot, Creasy's only friend Bruce Nakamura calls him to Japan to work as a bodyguard for the tech mogul Moritsugu family in Minato Ward, Tokyo. Creasy meets with the family, in particular daughter, Chieko, who Creasy is too personally protect. Creasy initially is cold and distant to the young Chieko, but slowly his barriers break down, and soon Creasy becomes a second father to her and a second lover to her mother Emiko. One day, Chieko is kidnapped by uniformed police. Creasy is arrested for murder and framed for taking part in the conspiracy for kidnapping Chieko. Chieko's death is announced after the ransom money went missing. Having lost his chance for peace, Creasy breaks out of prison and proceeds to avenge Chieko, eventually discovering a conspiracy that involves every far right conservative and fascist of Japan, including the Prime Minister and the J.S.O.C. team he has been on the run from. Because now Creasy will do what he does best: He will kill them. Anyone that was involved. Anybody who profited from it. Anybody who opens their eyes at him. HE WILL KILL THEM ALL.
