Sam Trapani is a Caporegime in the Salieri Crime Family and the partner and close friend of Tommy Angelo and Paulie Lombardo. He had a soft spot in his heart for a prostitute named Michelle. When the brothel she worked at was ordered to be destroyed and Michelle silenced, Sam asked Tommy to spare her life.
