Code Lyoko follows four ordinary 17-year-olds in Manhattan who discover a supercomputer hidden in an abandoned factory, granting them access to Lyoko—a digital world under siege by a malevolent computer virus called XANA. When the AI begins launching attacks on both the virtual realm and the real world, the teenagers must repeatedly return to Lyoko to fight back, using their virtual avatars and special powers. As they battle XANA's forces across fantastical digital landscapes, they race against time to prevent her from taking over the internet and destroying everything they know.
