Jennifer Kent (born 5 March 1969) is an Australian writer-director best known for her supernatural horror film "The Babadook" (2014) and her period revenge thriller "The Nightingale" (2018). Kent graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1991 with a degree in Performing Arts.
FBI agent Lee Harker investigates several cases with a common denominator: a man killed his family, committed suicide and left a note with satanic symbols. Harker discovers another series of seemingly impossible coincidences among the killings.
