Born 492BC, the woman who would become Dracula was born Elaina Marie Petrova-Alucard, daughter of the Warlord, Count Vladius Alucard and a powerful sorceress, Aurora Petrova. From an early age, she was taught the Arts of War, Diplomacy, Magic and Healing, lessons from both her parents that would shape her millennium to come. At 18, she is wed to Abraham Van Helsing in a loveless yet amicable union, and bears 3 children by her 21st birthday. After a terrible plague sweeps through her kingdom, Elaina uses her magic to help, despite the warnings and protestations of the local Witches. After losing her mother and her eldest child to the plague, Elaina falls ill. In desperation and madness, her father turns to Dark Magic to save her, and as a result Elaina becomes the First Vampire, later to be known as Countess Dracula, the Queen of All Vampires.
