Long after the legendary battles between the Autobots and Decepticons have faded into history, a new conflict begins across the stars. A Maximal exploration ship carrying a team of Cybertronians pursues a renegade Predacon vessel through deep space. When both ships are caught in a mysterious energy surge, they crash onto a prehistoric planet filled with dangerous wildlife and powerful Energon deposits. Stranded far from Cybertron, the Maximals must adapt to their new environment by taking the forms of Earth's prehistoric animals. Led by their courageous commander, the Maximals discover that the planet holds secrets that could change the future of Cybertron forever. Meanwhile, the Predacons establish their own base and begin searching for the planet's Energon, determined to use its power to change history and seize control of Cybertron. As Maximals and Predacons clash, ancient forces awaken beneath the planet's surface. The two factions soon realize that their war has placed not only their own lives but the future of two worlds in danger. Beast Wars is a live-action science-fiction adventure featuring giant transforming robots, prehistoric Earth, rival Cybertronian factions, and a battle that could reshape the future.
