In 1991, 19 year old Lily Evans had a brief fling of a relationship with Niklaus 'Klaus' Mikaelson, the infamous Original Hybrid. A fling that resulted in her becoming pregnant with an impossible child, Klaus' daughter who she names Hope Nikole Evans-Mikaelson, born 31st July 1992. Before her death, Lily sent a letter to Klaus asking him to find and protect their daughter. Despite his disbelief, Klaus, with Elijah at his side, finds his daughter with her mother's magical hating sister, who has left *his* daughter in a cupboard! He takes his daughter and raises her.
