Ultimately, Yan turns into a Distortion known as 얀샋ㄷ요무 (cipher for Distorted Yan). The film version of Yan was inspired by Feyd-Rautha (Austin Butler) from Dune: Part Two (2024), Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver) from Megalopolis (2024), Kikuo Tachibana (Ryo Yoshizawa) from Kokuho (2025), Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) from the Dune series (2021 - 2026), Noah Scanlon (Colin Firth) from Disclosure Day (2026) and Francis "Frank" Costello (Jack Nicholson) from The Departed (2006)
