She is also known as the Maiden of Iron, due to her constantly stalwart and professional attitude. Following the entirety of the Association being hired by V Corp in order to neutralize and investigate The Crying Children incident, Xiao leads Section 1 in an attempt to capture the Distortion. After failing, she returns to find an invitation that implies her husband's death at The Library, and signs it, wishing for vengeance. Xiao first comes off as a very cold and iron-willed person in both combat and everyday life, shapen by her past experiences. But after the death of Lowell, it is shown she has a soft spot for love, only revealed when it is too late. She uses traditions and culture of ancient Chinese history in her appearance and combat style.
