For centuries the Fire Nation had been at war with the forces of Commander Zhao, an ambitious admiral who seeks to take over the Fire Nation throne. However, the spirits have declared that the family of their Fire Lord, Iroh, has tainted the spirit of the nation, and now a new bloodline must take its place. The person selected is Arata Hatsu, a farm boy who is called to protect his nation, and then assume the throne in order and replace the current empire of war, with one of peace. read more

Description of Katara (The Waterbender):

Katara is the last Waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe. After losing her mother to Fire Nation soldiers, Katara dreams of learning to be a great waterbender and to put an end to the Fire Nation's reign of terror. That opportunity came when Arata Hatsu in his exile bumped into her and her brother Sokka in their journey to the Northern Water Tribe. Despite her mistrust in Arata, Katara seems willing to be willing to help him in his mission to defeat Ozai.
