The daughter of the mutant terrorist, Magneto, Wanda was abandoned by her father as a child due to her uncontrollable powers. Left at a mental hospital, Wanda's powers grew with her anger until she was found by Charles Xavier who took her in. When she was discovered to have magic as well as her mutation, she was taken in by the Sorcerer Supreme, Dr. Stephen Strange, his wife Johanna Constantine and Agatha Harkness who mentored her. Wanda soon becomes a powerful and well balanced sorceress in her own right.
