"Knock on My Door" follows Eleanor "Ellie" Carter, a bright and ambitious landscape architect, who dreams of opening her own design firm. However, when a prestigious scholarship to study abroad gets canceled, Ellie’s plans for the future are derailed. She blames the powerful CEO of Harrington Designs, Alexander Harrington, whose family business sponsors the scholarship. Their paths cross when Alexander unexpectedly offers Ellie a deal: pretend to be his fiancée for a few months to help him win over a skeptical board of directors and secure a major business deal. In return, he’ll reinstate her scholarship. What starts as a cold, business arrangement evolves into something far deeper as Ellie and Alexander discover the complexities of each other’s lives and personalities.
