Inside an emerald green house with a yellow brick chimney is the body of neuroscientist Oscar Diggs. The body was found by Zeke Oscars oldest who was found scared in a corner. Zeke's sibling Cabsi arrives and runs into the door on his way in and sees his dads body laying in a pool of blood and says "is he dead?" Tina, the middle child comes in staring at her phone looks up, sees the body and says "guys, dad died" and walks away. The final suspect is Oscars ex wife Janice. The story continues as Benoit interrogates the four suspects and finds out all three children were adopted by Oscar and all had different relationships with their father Zeke was beat if he did anything wrong and is always scared, Cabsi wasn't taught anything as a kid, and Tina felt unloved and doesn't show people love in return. Benoit sees a copy of the Wizard of OZ on Oscars desk and inside of the drawers are files with cryptic labeling on them including things like elph, scar, tinm, and cowa and a picture of Oscar with what looks like a twin brother. Benoit lays out all his evidence and says that their entire lives were designed to make them like the characters from the wizard of oz, even their names cabsi means scarecrow in somali he knows because he was hired to solve a string of kidnappings in Somalia and that the body is the twin brothers and Oscar is still alive and they need to follow the yellow brick road.
