The giant jaguar is Bidzil's father figure, guardian, mentor, Honi's friend, Pallaton's Close Friend, & eyota's mate. Calian and Eyota lost their son to Tarak who killed their cub in cold blood. He rescued a sabertooth cub, bidzil from a giant jaguar attack. Calian understands Bidzil's loss, calian's taking him in to honor Pallaton and doesn't want to break Eyota's already Mourning heart. Calian train bidzil to hunt and fight for survival if he's to defeat taka.
