Sterling is an old German Shepherd, who in his youth was the dog of a mobster who, when murdered, ended up on the streets and therefore in street fights, becoming known by the name of King. However, after being injured in the eye and breaking a leg, Sterling decided to stop fighting and train more young street dogs so that the same thing that happened to him doesn't happen to them.
