Leaf's twin brother and a member of the Mutant Pokemon Investigation Squad. Red is a country boy at heart and doesn't see the appeal of the big city, having gotten his fill after embarking on a Pokemon journey with his sister and childhood friend, though he does enjoy getting his sister's letters and calls. One day, though, he learns of Gary's disappearance, and after he and his mother paid Leaf a surprise visit to figure out her involvement in the situation, Red joins the Squad and dust off his trainer's cap so he can find his missing friend.
