This crossover serves as the true finale for Decade and origin story for W, showing Tsukasa Kadoya fully embracing his role as the "Destroyer of Worlds," fighting to merge worlds while Natsumi tries to stop him, converging with Shotaro & Philip's story as they uncover their own past, all leading to a battle against the resurrected evil organization, Super Shocker. Meanwhile on the present-day events of the W segment begin with Shotaro Hidari reminiscing about a past Christmas with his mentor, and the ongoing case takes place during the holiday season, with characters decorating their office for Christmas. The flashback sequence, the "Begins Night" that explains the origins of Kamen Rider W and the death of his mentor Sokichi Narumi, also occurred on a Christmas Eve one year prior.
