Kaede Akamatsu lives a quiet life, having left her time as the Ultimate Pianist behind her, until the Multiverse Management Corporated, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline, pulls her into a new mission. With her home universe facing an existential threat, Akamatsu reluctantly joins with an even more reluctant Shuichi Saihara on a mission which will change the history of the anime industry.
