• ifancast @ifancast Team 1 (Bruce, Clark, Kory, Cassandra, Vic, and Lex) journey to the ends of the known multiverse to acquire the Radion. Throughout the journey, Bruce warms up to Kory upon learning how she kept hopeful despite her suffering on Tamaran, and Clark and Lex start to peacefully talk to each other and even come to an understanding. At their destination, the powerless Monitor Mar Novu reveals that the multiverse now known was created when alternate counterparts of Earth-1’s heroes sacrificed themselves to stop another version of Darkseid, who discovered the Anti-Life’s ability to destroy the multiverse. Novu gives the heroes the last piece of Radion, their only chance to save their multiverse. Team 2 (Diana, Kyle, Wally, Vic, Michael, Ted, and Jessica) journey to the Promethean Earth, the Earth that is closest to the Source, where they could find the Life Equation. They team up with an alternate version of Kyle who still has the White Lantern ring, the only thing that can grant them the ability to exit the Source. The team successfully acquires the equation, with Vic using his detective skills and Kyle and Jessica using their cosmic knowledge. During this, Wally is summoned into the Speed Force, which appears as Barry Allen to allow him to fully make peace with Allen’s death and keep motivated to protect Iris and the world. Soon, though, the Promethean giants trapped in the Source attempt to use the White Lantern ring to escape. In the fight to escape, alternate Kyle is killed, Kyle-Prime and Jessica take his White and Green Lantern rings respectively, and Ted sacrifices himself to let the others escape. The two teams reunite and inform the final team of their successes, preparing to enter Earth-1.

• ifancast @ifancast Team 3 (Dinah, Mera, and the Suicide Squad) locate Darkseid’s ship on Apokolips. On the ship, Darkseid has been torturing Scott Free to break him and subjected to the Anti-Life, even threatening to rip the Mother Box from Barda and killing Metron to do so. The team are able to rescue Scott, but are discovered by the Furies and Godfrey. In the fight, Captain Cold freezes then shatters Godfrey, the Suicide Squad are all killed by the Furies, and Dinah and Mera escape with Scott, Barda, and Cyborg to Earth-1 Metropolis. Darkseid personally leads the pursuit of the escapees, while Teams 1 and 2 also enter Earth-1. The heroes restrain Barda and Cyborg as Scott tries to free them from the Boxes, only for Darkseid to show up. Most of the heroes fight the mind-controlled heroes and armies serving Darkseid, Lex positions himself to snipe Darkseid with a Radion bullet, and Bruce, Diana, and a partially repowered Clark fight Darkseid himself to keep him busy. As the heroes are losing and Lex is knocked away, Scott frees Barda and Cyborg, allowing the heroes to focus on protecting Kyle as he recites the Life Equation. Those under the influence of the Anti-Life Equation have finally been freed. Together, heroes from across the multiverse band together to fight Darkseid’s army, who are protecting him. During the battle, many heroes and the remainder of Darkseid’s Elite are killed, and Darkseid crushes Kyle’s hands and the White Lantern ring. Lex prepares to shoot Darkseid with the Radion, only for the bullet to hit a non-fatal area. Lex pridefully tells Darkseid his efforts will still lead to his defeat, before Darkseid obliterates him. With the Radion gone, Clark realizes there’s only one way to defeat Darkseid. He takes the Boxes and restrains Darkseid, with whom he is now evenly matched. Clark tells Cyborg to open a portal to the Promethean Earth. Clark smiles at his friends as he, Darkseid, and the Boxes rush into the portal toward the Source Wall. Darkseid fatally stabs Superman, who is quickly retrieved by Kara and Jessica, as Darkseid and the Boxes fall toward the Source Wall, becoming trapped in the Source. Wally rushes Lois and Jimmy in, and Lois tells him he saved everyone. Clark declares “What a lucky man I was…” before passing away. Lois, and all around her, mourn the death of the Man of Steel.

• ifancast @ifancast All in the battle attend Clark’s funeral, along with the rest of Clark’s loved ones. Lois and Kara receive the most amount of comforters. (There’s also a brief nice moment between Lois and Iris.) Bruce meets a version of his father who is Batman, who expresses pride in his son and chuckles upon seeing Selina with Bruce. Afterwards, the multiverse heroes return home, with Scott, Barda, and Bekka returning to the Fourth World as well. Flashes of future events within the next few years: Oliver and Dinah get married. Diana and Mera restore the nations of Themyscira and Atlantis respectively, with Mera taking on the mantle Aquawoman. Kyle resigns as a Green Lantern but serves a support position in the GLC. Memorial statues of Superman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter are built at the Hall of Justice. The Justice League is now co-led by Batman and Black Canary and consists of Cyborg, Green Arrow, Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz), Booster Gold, the Question, Hawkwoman, and Miss Martian.
