Batman, still struggling with the war ahead of them, agrees to work with him. The duo seek out other heroes to join their cause: Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and others. Together, they come up with a daring plan to take down Darkseid once and for all. Their plan involves infiltrating Apokolips itself, with Batman and John leading the charge. Along the way, Batman and John's friendship is tested, as both men struggle with who should make the ultimate sacrifice to bring Darkseid down. As they make their way through the treacherous landscape of Apokolips, they face dangerous challenges and battles with countless minions of Darkseid. But ultimately, Batman and John are able to use their unique skills and teamwork to defeat Darkseid, with one of them making the ultimate sacrifice to save the rest of the team. In the end, the heroes of the DC universe emerge victorious, having saved the multiverse from destruction and finding a newfound respect for each other, as they continue to fight side-by-side against any future threats that come their way.
