While the team's actual first meeting is debated, prime amongst the contenders involved the heroes who would eventually comprise the League, including Wonder Woman, the Flash, and the Martian Manhunter facing off against an unidentified aggressor, resulting in them nearly being turned into trees before eventually emerging victorious.
