    • ifancast @ifancast The film opens with Darkseid taunting a beaten Highfather, who is completely broken before Darkseid executes him. On Earth-1, Orion, Lightray, Bekka, and Blackfire pop up in the middle of space, where they are rescued by the Green Lantern Corps. They inform the Lanterns of the arrival of Darkseid, whose history on Earth turned out differently. Thousands of years ago, the GLC was able to kill the conqueror Yuga Khan and his young son UXAS, preventing the latter from becoming Darkseid. Darkseid seeks the Mother Box and the Father Box to unleash the Anti-Life Equation on Earth-1. Kyle, John, Bekka, and Blackfire journey to Earth to warn the Justice League. They catch Bruce at a bad time, as he was meeting Dick’s girlfriend Kory for the first time. He was not impressed by her. The Justice League, the Titans, and other heroes reunite in the WATCHTOWER. Scott and Barda reunite with Bekka, and Kory reunites with Komand’r. They discover that the Father Box was used to repair Victor, whose life is the only thing keeping the Father Box operating due to having merged with it. The team agrees to separate Darkseid’s army: The Mother Box is protected on OA, where the GLC, Blue Lanterns, Indigo Tribe, Star Sapphires, and Hawkwoman protect it. On THEMYSCIRA, the Amazons, the Atlanteans, the Green Arrow family, the Bat Family, Bumblebee, and Herald protect Cyborg and the Father Box. On their Earth’s APOKOLIPS, they’ll plant a trap for Darkseid himself, with Superman, Batman, Kyle, Wally, Supergirl, Starfire, Blackfire, Fire, Miss Martian, Martian Manhunter, and the residents of the Fourth World present. Suddenly, the team is interrupted when unusual activity occurs in Metropolis. Glorious Godfrey and Bruno Mannheim watch a portal open underground, which sparks an explosion that kills Mannheim. Darkseid has arrived, and much earlier than expected.

    • ifancast @ifancast Batman and Scott send everyone to their stations, but Superman must protect his city, so he confronts Darkseid. The dictator and the Kryptonian are well matched, but the fight causes mass casualties, including Perry White. Superman is brutally defeated in the end. Darkseid injects Superman with liquid gold Kryptonite and puts him on display for all humanity as a warning. He dispatches his Elite and his armies throughout Earth to find the Boxes. In the long (and I mean probably an hour long) final battle, things don’t fare much better. Grail and the Female Furies (minus Gilotina) fight the team on Themyscira, Kalibak and DeSaad attack the Lantern Corps, and Darkseid takes a small army with him to Apokolips, knowing full well he is walking into a trap. Darkseid fights all the heroes there, breaking their hopes and will to fight throughout. He brutally kills Blackfire, Fire, Lightray, and Orion before realizing that fighting the others is not worth his time. Upon seeing Barda, an idea comes to his head. Darkseid takes Barda then journeys to Oa, where he destroys the Central Power Battery, depowering the Lantern rings. The other Lanterns try to save as many as they can, but mass casualties result once again. Darkseid forcibly merges Barda with the Mother Box, which takes full control of Barda. On Themyscira, Roy is killed by Mad Harriet, Cheshire and Mad Harriet kill each other in a duel to the death, and Bernadeth and Stompa are killed by Diana and Arthur respectively. Soon, Darkseid, Barda, and DeSaad come in, with Darkseid plowing through Amazons and Atlanteans to get to Cyborg. The Apokolips team comes in trying to help fight Darkseid, but DeSaad ends up reprogramming the Father Box to take over Victor.

    • ifancast @ifancast Faced with the end of all free will, Arthur decides to make the hard choice and kill both Barda and Victor, only for Darkseid to crush the king under his boot. Martian Manhunter tries to bring out Darkseid’s pain, but he too fails and is killed. Darkseid and DeSaad have Barda and Victor act as mouthpieces for their boxes, finally releasing the Anti-Life Equation. Before it could be fully spoken, Bruce, Diana, Kyle, Dinah, Kory, Wally, Cassandra, Mera, and Jessica are teleported to an unknown Earth by Metron. They also find a completely human Clark there, barely alive. The group ponders their loss and powerlessness in complete defeat. As the equation is spread throughout the universe, Darkseid orders all to rise in awe of his victory, with all repeating the mantra: “Darkseid is.”

  • tomcat96 Daaang. This might be my favorite one of your DCU even though I’m more into heroes that don’t have powers and rely on skills that such as martial arts instead. The fight between Cheshire and Mad Harriet sounds brutal. I assume Gilotina is dead, but where is Lashina?

    • ifancast @tomcat96 Thank you so much! I'm very glad u liked this! And to answer ur question, questions about the missing Furies will be answered in the next movie (though I will say that in the Fourth World movie, Lashina held on real tight to the ship that brought Scott and Barda to Earth 1)

  • lorog I love your DCEU. This Universe was really cool. I honestly wonder what your take would be like in the DC Ultimate Universe.
