Story Plot

The rise of metahumans and costumed supermen has struck fear in the hearts of mankind and in their hubris for control the monstrous Amazo is born. But as a threat so powerful that not even the man of steel can defeat emerges, it'll take Earth's Greatest Champions to prevent a universal threat from being unleashed.

    Star Labs is tasked by mysterious forces to build an Anti-Superhero weapon, with Project Amazon beginning under the supervision of Ivo, Morrow and Magnus. Meanwhile Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman team up to take down Morgan Edge and intergang. Batman investigates Intergang's connection with Star Lab while Wonder Woman is assigned to Checkmate who view her as a weapon against Superman. Project Amazo goes Haywire and nearly destroys Star Labs with Superman stopping it before it goes out of hand. Ivo is removed from the project but restarts the project under the auspicius of Checkmate. He restarted Amazo begins to hunt down superhumans to grow in strength, invading Atlantis and attacking Aquaman and killing the Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Batman discovers that Intergang was providing alien tech to Star Labs with Will Magnus helping him stop TO Morrow, J'onn Jonzz is able to track down Amazo before it can kill the Flash. Amazo manages to take down J'onn Jonzz who is saved by the Flash sending otu a distress call before lapsing into a coma. With the power of four heroes, Amazo goes out to complete its mission ignoring the orders of Checkmate including Wonder Woman who moves to stop it after its gone out of control. Meanwhile Kyle Raynor is chosen as the next green Lantern and Kaldur'am is given the mantle of Aquaman and tasked with stopping amazo. Free of its Checkmate restraints Amazo goes after Superman its ultimate objective attacking him in Metropolis. With its new powers it proves more then his match though as it looks dire Aquaman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, a new Martian Manhunter join him in the fight. As the group wins Amazo copies more of their powers and gets stronger overwheliming the group. Batman realizing the threat of Amazo, returns to star labs with the Manhunter who helps him activate TO's weapon tomorrow Woman. As the heroes stand defeated, Superman remains defiant though Amazon moves to kill him as Tomorrow woman robs him of his stolen gifts. Rallying the heroes, the group destroy Amazo. Wonder Woman cuts ties with the Government and the heroes learn of a group opposing them chosing to remain together to protect the world. Tomorrow Woman takes the identity of Linda Park and becomes Clark Kent's protoge. The Post Credits scene reveals that Luthor was responsbile for funding Amazo and orchrestrating much of the events recovering the research to complete his project Eradicator. Meanwhile in nother post credits, Morgan Edge is removed from control of Intergang with his Apocalyptian masters deeming him unfit to act as their herald.
