Young John Stewart steals his aunt's car. His brother and sister are with him. On the trip, they get into an accident. A spaceship crashes into their car. The ship is the green ring. The Ring chooses John. An injury sustained during the accident leaves John unable to walk. But with the power of the ring and the help of his friends, he must confront those who have come for the ring.
