Young Alan Parrish finds a mysterious board game that makes an odd drumming sound, he eventually decides to play the game along with his classmate Sarah. Unexpectedly Alan is transported into the world of the game, now Alan stuck inside the game has to find a way to survive the jungle. Decades later a pair of siblings begin a new game, shortly into the game the young boy Peter rolls a 5, which transports Alan back into the current day.
