A movie based on the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical book of Judith
When the king of Assyria besieges Israel, the Israelites begin to lose heart. After rebuking the Israelites for their lack of faith, Judith, a beautiful Jewish widow, gains victory over the Assyrian general Holofernes through subtlety and trickery.
