Synopsis

A live-action reboot of Atlantis: the Lost Empire and a movie adaptation of the SeaWorld attraction of the same name as the film, Journey to Atlantis is a new story about discovering Atlantis. After the Iraq war, a team of scientists and soldiers explores an uncharted island submerged in the Atlantic, home of the legendary lost city of Atlantis, venturing into the domain of the Sirens, who plot to trap them in the city forever, and must fight to escape a primal Eden.

John Mahoney makes a return into the Atlantis series as a person who establishes with this rebooted counterpart of Preston Whitmore. Almost like a reunion between actor and character, who is now rebooted into Dai Davidson, played by Christopher Lloyd.
