Fan Casting Weiner in Joseph Zito's Spider-Man

A twitchy, unpredictable small-time hood hired by Ock to procure supplies and do his dirty work. Weiner is greedy, nervous, and dangerously unstable—a man who'd sell his mother for fifty bucks. He steals Peter's research, terrorizes Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and accidentally kills Ben during a botched robbery. Cornered by Spider-Man in a warehouse, he transforms from unhinged killer to pathetic, begging coward in manic style.
