Fan Casting Vinnie Gognitti in John Woo's Max Payne

A pathetic, twitchy, low-level mob informant who betrays Max to Lupino in a desperate attempt to save his own skin. Vinnie is the film's only comic relief—a man in a bad toupee who speaks in frantic whispers and dies in a warehouse explosion. Max finds only his cheap wig floating in a puddle of water the next morning. His death is tragic, absurd, and strangely heartbreaking.
