Fan Casting Don Punchinello in John Woo's Max Payne

The tired, old-school mafia patriarch who has lost control of his empire to Horne. Punchinello did not order death of Max's wife and has been carrying that guilt for three years. He confesses everything to Max in his study, giving him the location of Horne's Valkyr lab, then dies of a heart attack in Max's arms. He is a tragic figure: a king without a kingdom, a father who failed his family.
